How It All Began

Every love story starts somewhere, and ours began during the height of the Pandemic in the most unexpected place – shout out to Paige's AOS for convincing her to go on this date and shout out to Eric and Kelly Hausen for getting married! Little did they know that a simple swipe right would lead them to where they are today, planning their forever together.

The First Date

Our first date was weird. We were masked up inside The Perch. Paige was fashionably late. Paige and Trace had dinner, grabbed drinks, and talked about politics on their first date (say whaaat!!) and quickly realized that they shared so much in common. From their love for their family's to their passion for traveling.

Adventures Together

Since that swipe right, their lives have been filled with countless adventures. From trips to Florida, Arizona, Hawaii, Vegas, Mexico, Moab, and an unforgettable roadtrip around the East Coast to name just a few. Paige and Trace have created memories that will last a lifetime. They have laughed, grown, and supported each other through life's highs and lows, and they are excited for all the adventures yet to come.

The Proposal

On August 2nd, 2024, Trace decided it was time to ask the most important question. What started as a slow vacation day, it ended as the most special night. When they left the White Mountains in New Hampshire and headed for Bar Harbor, Trace started acting weird about making sure that Paige booked the perfect time slot for their evening hike. It did not phase Paige as she thought Trace was just going along with another one of her adventures. It was a perfect reflection of their relationship – adventurous and exhilerating (they both barely fit on the rock when Trace got down on one knee), and of course, the answer was an enthusiastic "Yes!" However, Paige had to remind Trace to actually ask the question when he was down on one knee. It was a perfect proposal!

Now, Paige and Trace can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter of their journey with all of you, the people they love the most. Your presence on their special day means the world to them, and they can’t wait to share the joy of becoming The Ancona's as they embark on a lifetime of love, laughter, and happiness.
